The USS Missouri served from World War II through Desert Storm. Walk the decks. Stand on the spot where on September 2, 1945 Japan surrendered to the Allies (Dubbed the "Surrender Deck") effectively ending the war. Spend approximately 4.5 hours at Pearl Harbor.

Drive past the Kawaiahao Church - the church of Hawaiian monarchs, the State Library and Archives, the Statue of King Kamehameha, plus City Hall and the quaint Mission Houses, while your driver recounts the rich and interesting history of these historic Honolulu landmarks.

Head back to the airport where a uniformed tour representative will meet you and escort the group to the Mokulele or GO! Airlines ticket counter. Our return flight typically departs Oahu at 7:15 PM, arriving on Kauai at Lihue Airport at approximately 7:50 PM.

Oahu One Day Tour from Kauai - Arizona Memorial, Punchbowl & USS Missouri (Air/Bus)

TSA Security Info: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to enter the following for each traveler: full name (as it appears on passport or government issued ID) and date of birth.  Failure to provide this information could result in additional TSA screening.

Due to the extreme popularity of this 1-day tour, a minimum 10-day advance booking is required. Anything booked within 10 days will be subject to availability.

THE NAMES GIVEN TO US MUST BE EXACTLY AS THEY APPEAR ON EACH PASSENGER'S PHOTO I.D.

Our Interisland Air Carriers will deny boarding if the passenger's legal name, as shown on their valid, government-issued ID, does not match the name on their Voucher. This is a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and FAA requirement. Air Carriers proven to be non-compliant are subject to severe penalties; thus, there is no flexibility with this policy.

You will be REQUIRED to show a picture ID to board the plane. Passengers denied boarding due to their lack of proper identification will be subject to a 100% no-show cancellation penalty.

Please Note:

Air travelers may now carry liquids, gels & aerosols in their carry-on bag when going through security checkpoints. With certain exceptions for prescription and over-the-counter medicines, baby formula/breast milk & other essential liquids, gels & aerosols, the following rules apply to all liquids, gels & aerosols you want to carry through a security checkpoint.

Make Your Trip Better Using 3-1-1
3–1–1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening. Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

Declare larger liquids. Prescription medications, baby formula & milk are allowed in quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.

USS Arizona Memorial "No Bags Allowed" Policy

As the Arizona Memorial is located on an active military base, strict security measures are currently being enforced. No purses, handbags, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage or other items that offer concealment are allowed in the visitor center or on the memorial. Strollers with pockets and compartments must be empty before being allowed in the visitor center. Personal cameras are allowed. Baggage storage is not available and there are no alternatives in the local area for bag storage.

The tour and our guide were excellent...We were told to be at Lihue Airport at 5:30 AM. We arrived early and the person getting us on the plane did not arrive until 6:00 AM. If we were supposed to be there at 6:00 then tell us that time...We were wondering if we were in the wrong place...did we have the right information etc. Since the tour was expensive and you take no responsibility for problems we were getting anxious. For the amount of money we paid, there is no excuse for the company representative to be late.

Our driver had a very heavy accent and at times was hard to understand. He was good about repeating things so we understood. Extremely knowledgeable about the area. Gave us a lot of detail and interesting stories. Bus windows could have been a little cleaner but with the rain that is probably hard to do. Some of the windows had a design that I thought obstructed your view. Overall I thought it was very memorable day and I would recommend it to anyone.

Well run tour. Our driver was courteous and informative. Suggest having umbrellas for passengers to use on rainy days. We got soaked at one stop with a sudden rain shower.

We enjoyed our time - did not know what to expect - the reason we booked it was to see the Arizona Memorial - that was well worth it - however the drive around town was just ok - we would have much rather have gone to the Diamond Head area - the timing of everything was great we barely had to wait for our plane at the end of the day - unlike some of the others.
