Description
On this 3-hour guided tour along the scenic Hanalei River and Bay Reef, enjoy views of Bali Hai (Makana Peak) and the sweeping "South Pacific" panorama.
Hop onboard our sit-on-top double kayaks and paddle softly toward the Bay Reef Lagoon (45 minutes approximately). Then, enjoy a complimentary snack and relax along the shore.
Put on your snorkel gear & swim out with our guides to discover a gorgeous reef area. Spend approximately 45 minutes bird and turtle watching and snorkeling. View the colorful reef fish. Wade by a sandy beach. The more adventurous can paddle out in a surf kayak.
Gently kayak (45 minutes approximately) back to our starting point and ride with the group back to our tour departure location.

Definitely worthwhile. The tour is not very strenuous - you kayak & snorkel or swim for about an hour each. The guide is very knowledgeable & a lot of fun.

Our group really enjoyed the kayak tour. It would have been nice to snorkel a little longer. There were some neat fish and turtles for us to see.

I enjoyed the kayaking down the river into the ocean. It was a beautiful day and the information that the guides shared with us was amazing. Both of our guides were very informative and made our trip enjoyable. The snorkeling at the Princeville Hotel was definitely worth seeing. I took many pictures and can't wait to share them with my friends. Thank you for a wonderful time. The only down side of the trip was another visitor and his group of three boys. They "disappeared" into the hotel when it was time to kayak back and they ended up making us wait on them to return. This incident was not a reflection of our tour guides, but a reflection of the indifference of tourists towards others. This was the only part of the tour that I did not appreciate. I would definitely book this tour again in the future. Thank you!

I guess late January is a slow time, and we were the only two on the tour. We saw many different fish, although the guide didn't have a fish chart with him. The area was beautiful and it was nice that there were bathrooms close by.
