Description
Take a fun downwind kayak trip on a beautiful jungle stream. After an easy 2-mile paddle, take a short walk to waterfalls & swimming holes. Jump onto our covered wagon for a trip across Kipu Ranch pulled by a big 4WD tractor to Kamapua'a Falls trailhead.
Take a short stroll down to our incredible Swiss Family Robinson-style tree house, which overlooks Kamapua'a Falls, as you enjoy lunch (included). Zip over a waterfall & river with our 275-foot zipline. Return on foot via an 80-foot suspension bridge.
Continue along our forest trail through the exotic foliage to Kipu Falls for swimming. Jump into the swimming holes at the base of waterfalls cascading, swing on ropes tied to tree branches or relax and enjoy the lush scenery!
Cruise by covered wagon to a jungle trail, where we'll walk to our river landing. Kick back on our exotic and unique twin-hulled powered Hawaiian canoe for a delightful cruise back down the river.
Kayaking
We use 2-person, open-cockpit type kayaks-stable, comfortable, easy to get in and out of. Go through the Hule'ia National Wildlife Refuge, paddle past the Alekoko (Menehune) Fishpond and listen to your guides will tell you exciting stories about the supernatural inhabitants of the valley in days gone by.
Zipping
Soar on a zipline through the forest canopy high above rivers and waterfalls at speeds up to 35mph. The Zipline is designed, built and operated according to the highest safety standards as set by the ACCT (the Association for Challenge Course Technology).
Participants (Zippers) are outfitted with mountain climbing harnesses and helmets. A protocol is followed in which the guide runs through an equipment checklist and attaches a tether from the Zipper's harness to a two-wheeled trolley that rides on the zip cable.
Wagon Ride
Ride in our custom covered farm wagon, pulled by our big, quiet John Deere 4WD tractor. Enjoy a unique narrated hayride across Kipu Ranch, a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch. Keep an eye out for wild boar, peacocks, and pheasant.
Trekking
Each of our 3 treks is conducted as a nature walk, through pristine tropical rain forests containing many different interesting communities of plants, birds and aquatic life, both native and introduced.
The Canoe Ride
On the downriver return trip, rather than paddling our kayaks for two miles into headwinds, you'll be kicking back and soaking up the sun and scenery on our big, double-hulled Hawaiian Canoe. A perfect ending to a perfect day!

Restrictions: Must be able to walk 2 miles & kayak 60-90 minutes. In order to participate in the zipline portion of the tour, guests must be at least 7 years old and weigh less than 275 lbs. Those who weigh more will not fit in the harness.

We had an excellent time on this adventure! Our tour guides were absolutely wonderful! The only thing that was frustrating is that one of the tour guides on another Kipu Falls tour was being really annoying and intruding into our group. Thanks to them both for a great experience!

the activities, kayaking, hiking in forests, ranch tour, zipline and swim falls were fun and a unique experience for us in hawaii. our guide was a lot of fun sharing their knowledge and experiences about the local culture and history on the area. the lunch was great and the zipline exciting although it could have been a little longer. we loved everything even when it rained on us. thanks for a great time.

We could have spent more time on the zipline/swimming and little less time on the tractor ride but overall this was a good time. Great Job to our guide.

I had a blast on this day. I highly recommend this to others. The tour guides were awesome and fun to be around. Although, I wish I would of known to bring bug spray because at the end of the day, I had mosquito bites all over. Other than that it was great experience and my friend enjoyed it as well. Thank you!

If you do one tour on Kauai, this should be the one! Our two families, with ages ranging from 11 to 47, had a fabulous time. The kayaking bordered on the strenuous for one of our members, but the remainder of the tour was more than manageable, since there's plenty of wagon riding time. The sights and scenery were incredible, and Kipu Falls was a fantasy come true. Our guides were polite and knowledgeable. Plenty of water & drinks and the best turkey sandwich of all our tours! Bring bug spray and your proper footwear and a swimsuit, of course! Highly recommended!
